How to measure

Our model - Floris is 1,83 m and wears size medium 

Chest - Our Chest measurement is measured on the flat sweater, only one side.
Measure the Chest under the armpit straight to the other armpit, at the points where the sleeve inserts the sweater. For around chest measurement, double the chest value of our chart (ie: Large = 2 x 55 = 110cm).

Sleeve - Measured from the shoulder seam and down the outer sleeve to the bottom of the cuff.

Center Back Length- Measured at back from top of collar till bottom of rib.

Shipment Worldwide
- Free shipping applies on all shipments of €249,- or over.
- In case of orders below €249,- we will need to charge €25,- for shipment by TNT. Shipments outside of the European Union may not exceed €2500.-.

As per International Laws regulating Commerce and Trade of imports and exports ALL Hommard orders are shipped out of Zeist, The Netherlands with an official Invoice declaring the exact total of merchandise purchased in Euro. It is illegal to declare lower values, or declare the items as gifts, as per international Import regulations.

Hommard shipments outside of the European Union are subject to import fees. Payment of these IMPORT FEES is the sole responsibility of the Client.

USA SocialSecurityNumber
Private USA citizens and non-USA citizens residing in the USA who import Internet goods from abroad are required to have a Social Security Number and must release this number willingly to the express courier or broker, in this case TNT. Non-USA citizen/resident who do not have a USA Social Security number can provide a CBP - Customs Border Protection - assigned number. The process to obtain a CBP assigned import number generally takes 10 business days. For more information, please visit the USA government site for Customs Border Protection: http://www.cbp.gov/

If the package is not successfully delivered to the Client’s address as per the Hommard Legal Terms and Conditions, the package may risk being sent back to The Netherlands at the Client’s expense including any import fees that may be assessed upon re-entry to The Netherlands. These fees will be deducted from any eventual reimbursement.

PRE-ORDER MERCHANDISE: SHIPMENT IS UPON THE ARRIVAL OF THE MERCHANDISE
Pre-Orders are debited and invoiced the day of Order Placement during regular office hours from 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Shipment will be executed on the day that the merchandise arrives in Hommards warehouse.

Shipment Information - Shipment Tracking
When the order is shipped, Clients receive an E-mail from Hommard specifying the tracking number. Clients can trace the shipments on the TNT website: www.tnt.com. Open www.TNT.com and enter the Tracking Number in the field provided for “tracking” shipment. The web page will change and show the exact movements of the parcel as recorded by the courier. In the event of delays in Customs, Clients will be notified directly by TNT and/or Hommard. Hommard shipments are insured against theft and accidental damage at no additional cost to the Client. Once the shipment reaches the destination, the goods are no longer insured.

Clients are asked to inspect the box carefully BEFORE signing for the delivery. Hommard shipments are carefully packaged in a Gift box with a transparent seal.If for any reason, the box looks tampered or the transparent seal is NOT intact, either sign for the package with reservations or refuse the package. In the event, that the box has been signed for with an unauthorized signature or there is evidence that the package has been tampered with, open a claim immediately with the local TNT Office and contact Hommard at service@hommard.com.

CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS

Your satisfaction is our number one priority. If you wish to modify, exchange or cancel your order please contact our Customer Service at email service@hommard.com or call +31-30-6992044 for a Cancellation number stating your wish to cancel, modify or return your order.

Sometimes it will not be possible to stop an order from being dispatched, because we endeavour to process orders on the same day. If your order has already been fully processed and dispatched, please follow the returns policy.

If you wish to cancel your order, you are entitled to do so within fourteen (14) days of delivery and obtain a full refund of the purchase price of the delivered products.

Returns, exchanges and late cancellations.
If you are not happy with your goods or need to exchange an item for a different size you may cancel your order at any time during the aforementioned cancellation period by providing us with a notice of cancellation. The cancellation period commences as of the date you receive our email acknowledging receipt of your order and ends on the fourteenth day following receipt of the merchandise by you or, in the case of gifts, the person who received them.

In the event of returns, exchanges or cancellations, we require that you return the new and unused goods to us in their original packaging with original boxes and other protective materials as well as all the original labelling attached.

PLEASE NOTE: New and unused means that there are no marks on the item or any wear on the tags. We do not sell used items and will not accept any item with any indication that it was used. In such cases, the item will be returned to the purchaser at the purchaser’s cost. Hommard is not responsible for any item that is not returned in the manner set forth above. Hommard reserves the right to request photographic support regarding defective or incorrect merchandise before authorizing a return for full reimbursement. Please discuss any additional questions you may have with a customer service representative when you contact us for a Cancellation number.

Cancellations are subject to the payment of the transportation charges. We require that all goods be returned within fourteen (14) days of the date of your notice of cancellation.

Although we make every effort to ensure that you receive the products ordered, please let us know if this is not the case. We offer a free returns process using international couriers TNT in the event that a) the product is not what was ordered or b) the product is flawed. In all other cases product returns and cancellations are subject to the payment of the transportation charges by you and we require that they be returned within fourteen (14) days of the date of delivery.

In the event that you should choose an alternative courier, we do not accept any form of liability for the loss or damage of returned goods.

In the event of any failure to return any goods to us as set out in these Terms within the stipulated time limits, even though validly cancelled, we shall have the right to charge any costs relating to the recovery of the goods. Refunds to you will be made within 30 days of the date of cancellation notice. All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchaser’s payment card including VAT but excluding shipping charges and recovery costs. We do not offer Hommard shop credits.

Use of the Hommard website is subject to the following ‘General terms and conditions’ (“Terms”) which contain important information about ordering products, payment and delivery, our returns policy and privacy protection. Hommard reserves the right to modify these Terms from time to time. Please check back from time to time to ensure you are aware of any changes.

In these Terms, references made to "we" and "us" mean Hommard, and "you" means you, one of Hommard online shop customers.

1. PLACING YOUR ORDER

1.1 To place an order, you should be lawfully capable of entering into and forming a valid contract in accordance with Dutch law. If you are under 18, We require that you inform a parent or guardian about these Terms, including our privacy policy before registering with us or placing an order with Hommard.

1.2 In order to make purchases through our website, you will need to create an online account the first time you use the Hommard online shop and you will be requested to provide information about yourself as indicated so that we may process your order. You represent and warrant that the information provided by you is both valid and correct.

1.3 Once you have chosen a product, click on the image to access the product page where information on sizing, colour options and availability will be provided. All product prices shown in the Hommard online shop are in Euro (€) and are inclusive of VAT but do not include delivery costs, outside the Netherlands which will separately appear in the order confirmation. All prices and offers remain valid as advertised from time to time.

1.4 If you are happy with your choice, click on the "Add to Shopping Cart" button.

1.5 You can monitor the products you have chosen by clicking on the "Shopping Basket" button at any time. You can also remove an item by clicking on the "Remove" button next to the chosen product.

1.6 When you are ready, proceed to "Checkout" and follow instructions. Please ensure that you provide information as requested.

1.7 Once you have confirmed your order, we will issue you with a Hommard order reference number, which will appear in your order confirmation. Please ensure that you save this number for reference.

1.8 On placing an order with Hommard, you are making an offer to us to purchase the products selected in accordance with these Terms. Please note that we may not always be able to accept your offer (see Acceptance). All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.

2. ACCESS AND USE OF HOMMARD ONLINE SHOP.

2.1 Hommard’s Online Shop is only available to online shoppers who meet our terms of eligibility, who have been issued with a valid payment card by a reputable bank, and who have agreed and authorise Hommard to process a charge or charges on their payment card in the amount of the total purchase price for the products they choose to purchase (see PAYMENT).

2.2 Please note, that, by making an offer to purchase merchandise, you expressly authorise us and our online service partner, Ogone BV, to perform the appropriate credit checks. Furthermore, where Hommard feels necessary, to transmit or to obtain additional information to efficiently process your order, including any updated information about you, to or from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to your payment card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your payment card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.

3. ACCEPTANCE

3.1 Once you have made your choice and you have filled in all personal details, such as address details, details of where the order has to be delivered, you will be asked to select your mode of payment. After this has all been filled in and cleared with Ogone, our payment service provider, you will be able to print an order overview. If all is correct, please press the bottom link: I Would Like to Pay Now. You will need to confirm the applicable Terms. The payment confirmation from Ogone will appear in your screen and your order has been placed.

3.2 Your order will be acknowledged by an order confirmation message which allows you to make a final review of your order, including your payment reference giving details as registered by our system. This message is NOT an acceptance of your order.

3.3 Hommard will also send you an order confirmation email containing information as set out above and a second email informing you when your order is dispatched.

3.4 Unless you cancel your order in accordance with our cancellation policy, acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and Hommard will take place when we dispatch the goods to you. The sale contract is therefore concluded in Zeist, The Netherlands.

3.5 We reserve the right not to accept your order. Such non-acceptance may result, for example, from the fact that a product ordered is out of stock or that we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment or that you do not meet the terms of eligibility set-out above.

3.6 Furthermore, we retain the expressed right not to process a transaction at any time at our sole discretion. In this event, we will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any merchandise from Hommard’s Online Shop, whether or not such products have been sold.

4. PAYMENT SAFETY & SECURITY.

4.1 We accept major payment cards, namely MasterCard, Visa, American Express, payment by iDeal and Paypal. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon receipt of your order by Hommard. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.

4.2 If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to Hommard, we will not be able to process your order and a message will appear informing you that the transaction cannot be processed.

4.3 Hommard, together with its partners, takes all reasonable care to make its online shop as secure as they can. All payment card transactions on this site are processed using a secure online payment gateway provided by our partner Ogone Payment Services BV, that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. We do not hold your payment card details on the Hommard server.

4.4 To avoid fraudulent transactions on the Hommard’s online shop, Hommard has set up some rules with Ogone Payment Services BV to ensure that your credit cards information is correct. So, should your order not match these rules, your order may be put under review. Your order will be processed with 24 hours. This can therefore delay your delivery.

4.5 To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure, Hommard uses industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, provided by GeoTrust to provide encryption of personal information such as your name, address and credit card details. In this way, information passed between your computer and our website cannot be read in the unlikely event of someone intercepting it. Both credit and debit card transactions are secured in this way.

You can check that you are shopping in a secure environment by looking for either a locked padlock icon (Internet Explorer) or an image of a key (Netscape) in the grey browser bar at the bottom of your screen. You can click on this to find out information about the SSL digital certificate registration. This will appear on any page where you are entering personal information (such as your credit card details) - no other page will transmit information about you.

4.6 Hommard is consistently reviewing its site security.

4.7 However, although we will employ all reasonable care to ensure that details of your order and payment are held secure, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from Hommard’s online shop.

4.8. Shipments to European Union Countries are accompanied with an official invoice that reflects the merchandise’s online value which include the Value Added Tax (VAT).

VAT - EU Countries:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom.

4.9. Orders shipped outside of the European Union and to European Countries that are NON-European Economic Community Members (Andorra, Canary Islands, Channel Islands, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Greenland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland) are exempt from Dutch VAT. The order value will be calculated minus the Dutch Value Added Tax and the final online invoice will reflect this tax exemption.

Please be reminded that shipments destined outside of the European Union may be subject to import fees based on the your home country regulations. Payment of these import fees is your sole responsibility and is for your own costs.

5. DELIVERY

5.1 Please note that, at this time, Hommard is able to deliver world wide, however, for deliveries outside the European Union, the exact courier charges will be reconfirmed to you upon receipt of your order.

5.2 Products will be delivered to the delivery address as shown in your order confirmation.

5.3 Our chosen courier for delivery is TNT and we strive to ensure that all orders are received within two (2) working days within the Netherlands (except for pre-orders). However, if your order is being processed or if you live outside the Netherlands, your order may take some extra time to reach you, we strive to deliver this within one week after receipt of your order.

5.4 Hommard insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. You will be asked to sign for any goods delivered at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you.

5.5 TRACKING: TNT: www.tnt.com provides a tracking service and you can check the current status of your shipment by viewing track your order. Simply type in your unique TNT tracking number emailed to you to track the status of your shipment.

5.6 Hommard will store a record of your transactions for a minimum of one year. Please note that for your security only a record of your transaction is kept on the Hommard web site, your payment card details are not held on the Hommard Web site.

7. GIFTS

7.1 If the goods ordered from Hommard were a gift and the recipient wishes, for example, to exchange an item for a different size, she/he may return the gift at any time during the fourteen (14) working days from the day after she/he receives the goods. Her/his right to return goods is subject to compliance with our returns policy.

7.2 The person having received the gift may exchange the item for another one of the same value or more provided they pay the price difference together with any additional shipping costs (if applicable).

8. PRIVACY POLICY

8.1 Hommard is committed to protecting the privacy of its online clients in providing a secure online shop for electronic commerce transactions.

8.2 When ordering products from Hommard’s online shop, you will be asked to provide personal information including your name, delivery address, telephone number, product selections as well as payment card details (if applicable). All the personal information provided by you will be used to process your orders (including payment and delivery) and is collected with your knowledge and express authorisation upon opening an online shop account. Consequently for this purpose, some of this information will be shared with our partners, and in particular Ogone BV and TNT.

8.3 If you have indicated that you would like to receive the Hommard news letter, you will also receive information on our products and promotions we feel may be of interest to you.

8.4 Your personal information may also be used for marketing research relating to Hommard. It will not be used for any unsolicited communication to users unless so authorised by them. Hommard will use its best endeavours to ensure that such data is kept secure at all times. Unless required to do so by law, Hommard will not otherwise share, sell or distribute any of the personal information you provide to us without your consent in writing and upon request, Hommard will remove users’ personal information from its database thereby cancelling their online account.

8.5 We use cookies to help keep track of your current shopping session and shopping basket content. Most browsers are automatically set to accept cookies, but in the event that you wish to prevent this to happen you can alter the settings of your browser.

8.6 Hommard, from time to time, may collect information about your usage of our website related with Hommard preferences. We will use and analyse the collected information to administer, support, improve and develop our business to provide you with the best service. 8.9 You may access, rectify, cancel and/or request that any (erroneous) information concerning your personal data be corrected in particular in the event that your personal details change. 10. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILTY

Hommard shall only be liable for losses, which are, direct losses and a reasonably foreseeable consequence of such a breach. Losses are foreseeable where, for example, you and Hommard at the time of you placing your order, and Hommard dispatching your order could contemplate them. We shall only be liable for losses up to 150% of the total value of goods purchased.
We are not responsible for indirect losses which are a side effect of the main loss or damage and which are not reasonably foreseeable by you and us (for example, loss of profits or loss of opportunity).

We are also not responsible for failure to meet any of our obligations under these Terms where such failure is due to force majeure.

11. INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Hommard from damages and/or costs, arising from your use of this website or your breach of these Terms.
